We will never try to talk you into giving us your animals, we are simply here to provide you with a great option for your family. In fact, we hope to talk you out of rehoming by offering other options and giving our professional advice and suggestions to your particular circumstances
However if you've exhausted all your options and rehoming your feathery friend is the only thing left to do, please allow him/her go to a sanctuary like ours or a few others in the area where the utmost care will be taken and the best possible home can be found only with time and not with money.
Our only requirement is that you disclose as much information as you can so we know what to be prepared for and what to plan for. If he or she is not in the best of health, is a screamer and plucker, is a picky eater, please just be upfront and say so. This will hold little sway over our decision. We just need to know how much consideration we need to make upon taking in this animal.
We prefer all birds to come with a package from home, so to speak. We want to make this as smooth of a transition as possible so prefer your bird to come with a toy, travel cage, favorite food bowl, etc.
when we are nearing full we have a requirement of a health recent (in the last year) record from a veterinarian and cage donation so that we can still take the best of care of the animals we have while welcoming yours into the family.
We can pick up your birds at your place so you can interview us, meet you somewhere (you do not need a reason to do what is best for the bird, we will adopt him or her with no questions asked if that is your wish), or have you drop him or her off at a volunteers home if that would make you feel better.
By choosing our facility over selling your bird to a person on the street or to a facility which will just rehome them again, you are guaranteeing them a great life where you can still have a say in their future.
